If you have not heard of iHeartRadio yet, it is worth checking out. It is a free iPhone app and website that lets you listen to real, live radio stations from across the United States. Best of all, it works almost anywhere in the world.
Many radio services block streaming outside the United States, which can be frustrating if you live or work abroad. iHeartRadio fills that gap by giving you access to a huge range of stations, including many you may have listened to before relocating overseas.
Using the app is simple. Search for your favorite hometown stations, add them to your favorites list, and stream them directly over a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. The library is extensive and continues to grow. iHeartRadio also offers a music discovery feature. Enter the name of an artist and the app will create a station that plays songs from that artist along with similar performers. It is an easy way to discover new music while staying connected to the artists you already enjoy.
